MANIFESTATION

Synopsis:

Set in the 1850’s, Manifestation, follows an enslaved witch, Cora, who has the ability to heal people. When her son, Elijah, loses his life to ruthless plantation owner, Master Waters, she uses her magic to bring him back to life. The narrative music video, set to LP's Muddy Waters, deals with the actions and consequences that follows.

Producer & Production Manager

Alongside a strong team, it was Rummel's responsibility to come up with the final production budget and create the Crowdfunding Campaign that would eventually go on to finance the majority of production costs. Rummel also negotiated and drafted the contracts with the Myrtle Grove Plantation to be the first non-feature film to shoot on the location. 

As Production Manager, Rummel made sure to communicate the location restrictions, collect contracts, and help oversee the cast and crew of over 60 people throughout a four day shoot.

Set deep in the south during the 1850’s, MANIFESTATION follows Cora, an enslaved witch who uses her magical abilities in secret to heal those close to her. After a brutal fight between the plantation owner and Elijah, Cora’s son, she is forced to delve into dark entities she’s never faced before.
